    Job Description

    THE INLAND EMPIRE 66ERS ARE A MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL TEAM LOCATED IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. THE 66ERS ARE THE MINOR LEAGUE AFFILIATE OF THE LOS ANGELES ANGELS.

    SALARY & BENEFITS: This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive benefits including full family health care and an aggressive 401K plan. Salary based on experience.

    SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Inland Empire 66ers Baseball Club is currently seeking an individual with the drive and professionalism to generate new business by selling corporate sponsorships and advertising. We are seeking an organized and talented individual to join our staff of seasoned industry professionals. The position is heavily sales-oriented with aggressive sales goals. The focus will be on corporate sales, but the individual will have the ability to sell season tickets, group tickets, hospitality packages, and any other ticket product available. *APPLICANT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR WORKING HOME GAMES. THERE ARE A LOT OF NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS. IT IS ALSO A PHYSICAL JOB.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • This position will work with the General Manager and other sales representatives to achieve the objectives of the organization.
    • Cultivate a network of decision-makers on a local, regional and national level through outreach and relationship-building while professionally and accurately presenting the organization's brand and core principles.
    • Maximize corporate revenue opportunities while ensuring long-term partnerships.
    • Meet and exceed established weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals
    • Generate new sales through the telephone, outside appointments, and the development of referrals through networking, cold calling, prospecting, and other techniques
    • Create and develop comprehensive proposals and presentations to meet clients’ objectives.
    • Proactively create opportunities for new business with existing customers.
    • Adhere to organization guidelines in relation to call volume and key performance metrics
    • Represent the organization at various networking events and/or offsite community events
    • Collaborate with the necessary departments to implement sponsorships and create valuable in-market activations
    • Deliver on all contractual elements, with a desire to over-deliver to all corporate partners.
    • Provide excellent customer service and care to all customers and prospects.
    • Maintain accurate records in support of sales efforts as defined by the organization
    • Assist with game night activities, as well as any special events on an as-needed basis
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    • At least three years of prior sales experience preferred, sports sales a plus
    • At least two years of experience with B2B sales.
    • Experience selling advertising, sponsorship, digital and promotional programs.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Good working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database programs
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for organizational business
