    Job Description

    We are looking for an Human Resources Administrator to support our Human Resources department.

    The Human Resource Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the department to assist in the delivery of the team's goals and objectives. This position will assist with the administrative day-to-day needs of the team including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding; productivity, recognition, and morale; benefit administration; HRIS administration and LOAs. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Organizes and maintain personnel records
    • Updates internal databases (HRIS)
    • Assist with HR documents, like employment offers and new hire guides
    • Creates regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (i.e turnover rates)
    • Answers employees queries about HR-related issues
    • Assists payroll department by providing relevant employee information (i.e. hours worked, leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules) and reviewing for accuracy
    • Conducts monthly review of department related bills for accuracy (i.e. health insurance bills)
    • Assists in overseeing and managing 401K account and weekly uploads
    • Arranges travel accommodations and process expense forms
    • Participates in HR projects (e.g. help organize a job fair event)
    • Provides back up for payroll review
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS
    • Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
    • Knowledge of labor laws
    • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
    • Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast pace environment

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

     

    • 3+ years of proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role
    • High School Diploma/GED and equivalent post-secondary degree preferred in Human Resources or related field or equavalant experience
    • Experience with assessing talent and managing performance
    • Prior construction experience preferred
    • Must have good business written and oral communication skills and effective listening skills
    • Must be fluent in English and Spanish
    • Strong customer service skills
