POSITION: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK
JOB STATUS: FULL TIME

JOB SUMMARY: The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for making payments to Vendors and Payees. Also, to ensure that Accounts Payable data is collected and processed in a timely manner.
DUTIES:
· Accounts Payable and General Ledger data entry.
· Match Vendor invoices with purchase orders and check for discrepancies.
· Ensure all relevant data is filed appropriately.
· Properly maintaining Vendor files.
· Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
· Produce monthly reports when requested.
· Assist with month end closing.
· Complete weekly check runs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Prefer to have or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar.
· Knowledge of accounts payable
· Knowledge of general accounting procedures.
· Detail oriented but also able to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Preferred experience in Sage 100, Sage Intacct, and Microsoft Excel.
