    Job Summary We are seeking a positive, friendly Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional service to our hotel guests. The Front Desk Agent will assist guests with the check-in and check-out processes, assist with creating reservations on the phone, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Responsibilities also include maintaining communication with housekeeping staff to coordinate room availability, answering guest inquiries, and troubleshooting common issues. The Front Desk Agent must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to stay positive even when faced with challenging situations. Your goal is to provide guests with an exceptional customer service experience.

    Responsibilities

    Greet guests in the lobby

    Take reservations and answer questions via phone, email, and in-person

    Build rapport with guests and identify their needs through friendly conversation and open-ended questions

    Inspect guest rooms

    Check-in guests and escort them to the room when possible. Assist with baggage.

    Be the first point of contact for guests and resolve basic issues.

    Qualifications

    Friendly and outgoing personality

    Familiarity with hospitality industry standards

    Proficient in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus

    Computer literacy

    Able to resolve issues with a customer-focused orientation

    Able to lift 40 pounds
