    Job Description

    OVERVIEW

    The Digital/CRM Strategist provides overall strategic direction on all digital projects from online in-market advertising/marketing, clients website and an enterprise CRM program, with focus on communications, acquisition, conversion, cross sell/upsell and retention for the client.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    We are looking for someone who is both a strategic thinker on a bigger-picture level with the rigor around managing details with adherence to defined goals and performance metrics specifically around how we can increase the number of qualified customers and improve our business KPIs (i.e. leads, configurations, request a quotes and ownership).

    Collaborating with our analytics partners, the Strategist will discover insights rooted in data, plan for both short-term and long-term, programs, construct and test segmentation plans, develop cadence for communications, define specific executions and optimize strategies post launch.

    This role will bring knowledge and experience in understanding the customer mindset and how the customer uses websites, mobile applications, and email/CRM programs to make their decisions.

    This role will also be responsible for determining business objectives with clients and providing strategic leadership execution recommendations for in-market online advertising based on industry best-practices, understanding the media landscape, as well as database segments & prospecting activities for CRM. Essentially, ensuring the customer experience is consistent and on brand in the Demand Generation and Brand Loyalty part of the journey.

    This role will be heavily involved in partnering with the client for prioritizing campaigns for transition from Siebel to Selligent (StrongView) as well as supporting onboarding of the new Analytics & List Procurement CRM agency.

    Lastly, the Strategist will be partnered with the Social Media strategist, and reports to the VP Strategy Director, to help ensure the total collective customer journey touchpoints are established. It is imperative that we find ways to attract new customers, retain existing customers and help establish a longer term relationship with customers.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Digital/CRM/Database/Direct Marketing strategy experience with solid experience within an agency.

    • Automotive or retail experience preferred.

    • Experience in creating multi-channel direct marketing efforts that leverage clients databases.

    • Demonstrated success working in an integrated cross-functional team environment, providing effective creative direction and strategic feedback to improve campaign performance.

    • Individual should have a passion for the digital, CRM and one-to-one communications, using data for insights and excited about incorporating new technologies into traditional CRM approaches and formats. Develop CRM audience profiles and conquest strategy

    • Experience developing integrated digital strategy based on consumer journey. Work with UX Strategists to develop digital journey and digital audience profiles. Develop Vehicle Landing Page (VLP) narratives to ensure the customer journey is being realized.

    • Experience authoring CRM Creative Briefs with a clear understanding on how we can acquire new customers, retain existing customers and develop higher levels of brand loyalty.

    • Collaboration with Data Analytics and provide insights for CRM and website performance reporting

    • Understanding of campaign management tools, operations and data systems -- preferably Siebel.

    • Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with senior level clients and clearly articulate strategic direction.

    • Strong presentation skills are a must.

    • Should be a self-starter and able to come up with solutions, individually and collaboratively.
