DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
The Account Executive Team is responsible for the day-to-day management of client initiatives and select franchise co-op efforts and ensure that the agency delivers quality work on time and within budget.
POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Senior Account Executive, you will manage retail advertising initiatives and projects to successful completion and facilitate client business plan objectives. The successful candidate will have previous experience in agency or client focused environment and must demonstrate management of multiple projects to successful completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with clients on a daily basis to identify needs and expectations on campaign initiatives.
Initiate projects derived from brand initiatives, client/business needs, and creative ideas. Work with teams to accurately plan and forecast project budgets.
Brief creative and production and media teams on project initiatives.
Present/communicate progress and outcome of projects to clients and determine best next steps.
Facilitate internal and client reviews, update status documents, legal routing, contact reports, and meeting coordination.
Deliver on (medium to large sized scope) self-contained projects unaided. Takes ownership of deliverables and facilitates work effectively across internal teams and vendors.
Own results articulate past results and measurements strategy/optimizations.
Day-to-day point of contact for select franchise co-op board members
Pending state, local, and agency travel restrictions: Regular travel (approx. 25% of time with peak seasons at 75%) within assigned market areas
Leverages local market intelligence, targets specific local market activities, and analyzes competitive threats
Executes communications with franchise co-ops, including meeting minutes, cashflows, sales updates, coupon redemptions, marketing alerts, promotional coversheets, etc.
Manages development and execution of various and local/sports sponsorships including, sweepstakes, grand openings, etc.
Lead market board meetings and prepare client presentation materials
REQUIREMENTS
Must have 5+ years of experience in a client services function within a digital Marketing, Advertising, or Business-related field
Restaurant experience is a plus
Experience in competitive positioning, products, brands and spending.
Strong presentation and communication skills
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects efficiently
Motivated team player
Ability to assess a situation and make sound judgment calls & recommendations
Foster positive relationships with clients, external partners, and internal teams
Ability to communicate (verbal/written) objectives and strategy for all owned projects.
