We would prefer that your love for the backend programing magic, outweighed your front end creativity....which you will get to work on, but right now the team needs full stack help, so you gotta have those back-end chops!

As a team, we build incredibly complex websites for government agencies, local government agencies and some very large, highly creative companies.

This position is remote with the company headquartered in Portland, Oregon. This is also a customer facing role, so you gotta shine on Zoom or video conferencing platforms!

Our boutique client is an established and growing full-service web solutions firm, established back in 2005 and is growing like crazy!

We are looking to build a team focused on innovative projects to better provide “next tech” development solutions to our web services clients. We are seeking a like-minded, experienced, and versatile industry professional to fill our open Full Stack Web Developer position.

As a Full Stack Web Developer in this customer-facing role, you will build software that matters to real businesses using it every day. You will get to know clients on a first name basis, understand their needs, and shape the “how” of solutions. You will have ample opportunities to present your ideas and work to non-technical people and demonstrate how your solution meets their needs. Being one of first employees of our new east coast office, you will help shape the direction and culture of our new venture.

Responsibilities

• Write high quality, well-tested, extensible and scalable code
• Collaborate with a tight-knit team solving tough problems by building quality enterprise solutions with a professional design and coding process
• Understand and communicate technical/web-specific pros and cons to clients and team members
• Fostering customer relationships through thoughtful technical direction and leadership
• Initiating improvements in companywide development
• Stay abreast of the latest technologies within our industry and lead the implementation of these new technologies

Required Experience and Skills:

• You have 1+ years’ experience with modern object-oriented programming languages and demonstrable knowledge of web application development
• You have Full System Lifecycle Development experience, including Requirements gathering and full project documentation
• You have a strong desire to work in a team-driven, customer-focused environment and the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at once
• You possess excellent organizational and time-management abilities and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build, extend and maintain senior client relationships
• You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related major such as Engineering, Math, or Physics
• Experience with ColdFusion would be a huge plus...
• Limited Travel is required
• ASP.net, HTML5, CSS, SQL, React, Angular or Vue.js
