 JOB TITLE: ASSET REMARKETING REPRESENTATIVE

RESPONSIBILITIES

Summary of Responsibilities:

The primary role of an Asset Remarketing Representative is to manage and execute the company strategy for Asset Remarketing focused on maximizing profits and building sustainable relationships. The focus is to maximize revenue by obtaining the highest possible net sale proceeds, while managing expenses and days to sell.

Essential Functions:

• Contract Repossession agents and auctions as needed
• Negotiate servicing fees with agents and auctions
• Properly documents all account activity in required systems – AutoIMS, RDN and NLS
• Prepare repossession invoices for Management review
• Ensure all Legal & Compliance processes are completed prior to the sale of a vehicle
• Assign units for transport to auto auctions, wholesalers and/or salvage auctions
• Able to quickly and properly decision reconditioning needs of asset to maximize net sale proceeds
• Manage all expenses incurred in the asset disposition process
• Work with the internal/external Title departments to get titles transferred timely
• Audit auction documentation, fees, inventory, and reconditioning charges
• Represent Innovate Loan Servicing and their clients during bidding process online or in person, properly floor assets and accept/decline bids
• Ensure disposition cycle-time targets are met
• Maintain company goals for Time to Transport, Time to Recondition, Days to Sell
• Build and foster relationship/partnership with auctions to market our product to dealers and build a dealer following of Innovate Loan Servicing and their clients
• Maintain open communication between auctions, vendors and internal staff to enhance processes through efficiencies while minimizing loss to the company
• Travel to auctions, vendors or other parties as necessary

Other Functions:

• Assist with special projects as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

• 4-year college degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
• 2-4 years of direct experience remarketing automotive assets
• Highly knowledgeable in the mechanical aspects of automotive repair
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
• Competent decision-maker minimizing financial and reputational risk to the organization
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
• High level of character and integrity
• Efficient in Microsoft Office, Auto IMS and RDN
• Ability to travel as necessary
• Complete understanding of the automotive wholesale industry, including the correlation and roles of automobile dealers, financial services companies and auction houses

Working Conditions

·         Extended working hours may be required as dictated by management and business needs

·         Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call

·         Ability to travel to other facilities as needed and work in a variety of weather conditions

Company Description

Innovate Loan Servicing is a full service auto finance company that originates auto loans and leases, conducts bulk acquisitions of portfolios, services existing accounts, and conducts repossession and re-marketing activities for itself and for third party clients and investors. The Credit team is responsible for the evaluation of portfolios for purchase, originating loans and leases for clients, and the upload of accounts into our loan servicing system, including acquisitions, servicing accounts and repo-remarketing accounts.
