Innovation Solutions Internship
The not-for-profit organization Representative of German Business (RGB) is part of the worldwide network of the German Chambers of Commerce abroad. It supports the economic interests of German companies in the US and pursues the mission to connect stakeholders and ideas in key industries, empower innovation journeys, and create economic opportunities for the transatlantic community on topics such as renewable energy, cleantech, or mobility.
RGB's Innovation Solutions Team supports and advises small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) on all issues relating to US market entry and expansion, as well as facilitates innovation journeys. Examples of projects are one-week startup bootcamp programs to transfer Silicon Valley mindset and knowledge to German founders, one-week delegations supported by the German Federal Ministry for SMEs from advanced industries like biotechnology, civil aviation, and offshore wind to connect with potential customers and local stakeholders, and supporting economic developers and state delegations with customized programs to suit their specific needs.
All our programs aim to foster innovation management and innovation transfer between the Western US and Germany. As an Intern in the Innovation Solutions department, you will be deeply involved in various projects and gain first-hand experience of the workings of a transatlantic business organization.
