We are building a team of talented developers and data scientists that are developing the next generation of the Federal Student Aid system that will serve current and future generations of students and families. This high profile cloud based system is being built using highly performant, scalable microservices that are accessible through customer facing single page web applications.

    Responsibilities:

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive innovation and impact.

    Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and inform strategic decision-making.

    Develop and deploy machine learning models to predict trends and optimize processes.

    Maintain and optimize data pipelines and workflows to ensure scalability and performance.

    Stay updated on the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

    Basic Qualifications:

    1+ years of experience in IT or equivalent education, with a focus on data science and analytics.

    Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).

    Experience working with Amazon Redshift and Spark for big data analytics.

    Strong understanding of data architectures and ETL processes.

    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.

    Additional Qualifications:

    Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

    Excellent time management and project management skills, with a proven ability to meet project deadlines.

    US Citizenship or eligibility to work in the United States.
