    A large church in Atlanta-Dekalb County is looking for a permanent PART-TIME FACILITIES ADMINISTRATOR to join their staff. This individual will provide oversight and coordination for the church's maintenance, building use, and security needs. This hands-on role is perfect for a “roll up your sleeves and get things done” person and is a great opportunity to join a wonderful staff of people. This position will be performed in a 30-35 hour workweek and includes benefits!   JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Supervise custodial staff
    • Establish a preventative maintenance schedule and proactively advise finance committee of necessary funding that will be needed
    • Create building use policies and agreements as well as emergency procedure documentation
    • Oversee long-term safety and security programs
    • Establish procedures for facility use, set-up, and maintenance requests
    • Oversee facility use calendar
    • Select and review contracts with all facilities vendors
    • Develop an annual facilities budget to be submitted to staff and appropriate committees
    • Walk the campus at least once per week to look for issues & improvement opportunities

     

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of 5 years' experience with hands-on facilities management, coordination or oversight
    • Ability to provide assistance during occasional weekend and evening events
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite
    • Team player who never says “that's not my job”

    SALARY: $45,000/YR (FOR 30-35 HOUR WORKWEEK ) PLUS BENEFITS
