Inpria, a subsidiary of JSR Corporation, has an immediate opening for an R&D Engineering Assistant based at Imec in Leuven, Belgium. We seek an enthusiastic and conscientious candidate to join our diverse and talented team as we extend the limits of EUV lithography. You will support the operations in the Fab by processing wafers and performing measurement in a weekly cadence to generate high quality experimental data that feeds into our R&D effort. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Support Inpria’s weekly Fab operations at Imec
· Perform lithographic exposures and SEM/Thin Film/Defect measurements to meet internal characterization objectives
· Enter and process data in a reliable, efficient, and correct manner
· Sustain cleanroom-based physical and chemical characterization procedures
· Identify and address out-of-spec processes and process steps
· Work on specific improvement projects and drive to completion
· Communicate and engage with a diverse team of chemists and engineers
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
· Secondary school with a technical background and 3 years plus of experience in a laboratory or semiconductor manufacturing environment or a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry
· Experience with lithography, defectivity, and metrology equipment is a plus
· Self-driven and proactive in achieving goals
· Well organized, flexible, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
· Active and effective communication skills in English, verbal and written
· Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
· Currently able to legally work in the EU
