    The Buyer will play a key role in supporting the procurement team in various activities, including sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation. This position offers a great opportunity for individuals interested in developing their skills and advancing their career in procurement.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the sourcing and procurement of goods and services from various suppliers.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and specifications.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and develop positive working relationships.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
    • Issue, track, and manage purchase orders.
    • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
    • Maintain accurate records of purchase transactions, contracts, and vendor information.
    • Assist in resolving procurement-related issues and discrepancies.
    • Identify, analyze, and interpret useful trends and patterns within data sets.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.
    • Minimum 2 years purchasing experience.
    • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) as well as various ERP systems.
    • Familiarity with standard procurement processes and best practices.
    • Ability to effectively utilize negotiation skills with vendors/suppliers.
    • Ability to identify, visualize, and articulate complex problems and solutions.
    • Proactive and solutions oriented.
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
    • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively.
    • Ability to collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to develop positive relationships with employees, business partners, and customers.
    • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. This is largely a sedentary role and requires the ability to sit for long periods of time.
