Input Staffing is looking for an Application Development Manager for a long term contract with an amazing client in the Virginia Beach, VA area. 

This role will oversee a team of developers along with being hands on with development. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Manage the day-to-day activities of the Application Development group, providing leadership to its staff
• Develop policies & procedures that outline all aspects of application development and maintenance including: life-cycle development strategies, testing and implementation plans, and post-implementation monitoring

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• 5+ years of experience as a mobile application developer with 3+ years being a team lead for a software development team 
• Experience leading teams in building and maintaining large applications with agile software development methodologies
• Experience with client-side web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JS, Ajax, etc.) a plus.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented development, use of design patterns and system architecture for mobile devices
• Proven expertise in architecting software solutions.
• Demonstrable experience in all phases of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including business and functional requirement gathering and analysis, system specification, design, implementation, testing, and deployment
