Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end data science projects, from problem definition to model deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists. Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.

• Model Development: Develop and implement advanced machine learning models. Evaluate model performance and iterate as needed.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into data science solutions.

• Documentation: Document all aspects of the discovery, analysis, and model building processes for customer support, governance, and compliance purposes

• Presentation: Present findings to team members and make adjustments based on feedback

• Complex Problem Solving: Handle complex issues and problems using comprehensive knowledge of principles and practices in the field.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM or quantitative field. Data Science coursework or training is preferred.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in data science or related roles.

• Proficiency in statistical analysis and creating informative visualizations.

• Strong knowledge of common and advanced machine learning algorithms.

• Knowledge of deep learning frameworks, such as Tensorflow, Keras, and PyTorch.

• Programming skills in Python, SAS (preferred), or other relevant languages.

• SQL programming in SQL Server or Oracle.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Project management / project lead experience.

• Passion for solving complex problems.
