Input Technology Solutions is seeking a Deltek CostPoint Staff Accountant for an exciting client based in San Diego, California!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Accounting degree, certificate, or equivalent years of experience.
- Government contractor or industry experience required.
- Experience with Deltek's CostPoint in these areas:
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll
- Project Accounting
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reconcile the general ledger.
- Assist with monthly accounting duties including month-end close.
- Reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer
- Create and send out invoices to customers Voucher processing in Accounts Payable
- Reconcile expenditure reports to source documents
- Ensure Invoices match purchase orders
- Reviews reports for completeness and accuracy.
- Escalates concerns as appropriate.
- Actively investigate and resolve irregularities in both incoming and outgoing payment
- Handle questions from the operations teams
- Track outstanding receivables and follow up with customers about past-due invoices
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- 3 + years or more of related experience with a defense company.
- 3 + years of experience with Deltek's CostPoint
- US Citizenship
- This is a position of trust and will require a background investigation.
