As a part of the A29O Hub-and-Spoke Quick Reaction Force (QRF), you will be collaborating with a group of data scientists, data engineers, software developers and ISR SMEs as they come up with high-impact innovative solutions to our USAF ACC mission partners. You will bring to bear your unique full-stack skills in Data Science, Data Engineering and software engineering to tackle special projects focused on AI/ML, automation, and augmentation (AAA) to be deployed in secure, air-gapped environments.
• Experience delivering successful AI/ML projects within the DoD or a similar industry/mission-driven enterprise.
• Demonstrated ability to apply machine learning algorithms (e.g. natural language processing, deep learning, computer vision) to solve complex problems (e.g., target recognition, anomaly detection, predictive maintenance).
• Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts, including hands-on development of attributes, facts, dimensions, transformations, dynamic dashboards, grids, graphs, scorecards, and statistical reporting
• Experience with managing data and databases (SQL, NoSQL and graph databases) and familiar with a variety of emerging data architectures.
• Experience designing and implementing secure data pipelines utilizing microservices and APIs.
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to script languages such as Python, or R, and scientific languages such as C++ or Java
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) and 5 years relevant experience (If strong with 3 years, willing to interview)
