ABOUT THIS JOB

Insellerate is seeking a highly motivated Database Administrator. The Database Administrator plays a key role in each phase of the software development lifecycle by applying their technical skills and experiences to improve software design and development methods. As an engineer, this individual will contribute to the success of our development team as well as training and mentoring fellow teammates.

We are looking for an individual contributor to work in a team of developers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop processes for optimizing database security.

· Set and maintain database standards.

· Manage database access.

· Performance tuning of database systems.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.

· Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.

· Create automation for repeating database tasks.

· Be available for on-call support as needed.

· Upgrade and improve application schema and data upgrades

· Process work accurately and in a timely manner

· Proactively and regularly make recommendations for system improvements

QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven working experience as a Database Administrator

· BS degree in a computer discipline or relevant certification

· 3+ years of experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture, or a related field

· Extensive experience with relational and non-relational database technologies (SQL, Azure SQL)

· Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) a plus
