Insero Talent Solutions has been retained to recruit a Program Director for a growing, well-respected non profit agency in Rochester, NY.
The Program Director provides essential operational and administrative oversight and support for programs and services and represents the agency’s mission and family-centered approach in a positive, professional manner consistent with agency culture and values. The Program Director is responsible for ensuring the overall organization, coordination, and timely execution of program operations, services, procedures, and reports to maximize organizational effectiveness and efficiency and maintain program standards and quality measures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensures optimal enrollee services and promotes ongoing enrollee/family satisfaction and staff morale
- Monitors and adjusts staff schedules to ensure proper classroom ratios
- Manages Program Staff PTO and coverage plans
- Maintains EI and CPSE Systems and helps to coordinate special education services for enrollees
- Compile, manage and interpret data
- Collaborates with leadership and utilizes appropriate resources to implement and document educational programs to meet staff needs and requirements
- Focuses on staff training and development by identifying needs, suggesting resources, and coordinating training efforts and tracking
- Keeps informed of any updates and information relevant to compliance, including developmentally appropriate practices, standards of practice, licensing requirements, and/or agency procedures and policies
- Ensures that the center's physical facilities comply with local, state and federal laws and are a safe and appropriate environment for children
- Conducts daily, weekly, and as-needed classroom and perimeter inspections to ensure compliance with all safety requirements and makes recommendations for improvements as needed
- Conducts evacuation, fire, and safety drills as required and ensures adherence to practice guidelines and individual evacuation waivers
- Creates a safe work environment for staff by ensuring adherence to all safety/infection control policies and procedures/practices to include but not limited to the wearing of appropriate protective clothing and gear and the proper handling of contaminated equipment and tools
- Attends and/or conducts team meetings; Attends and participates in all-staff meetings
- Complies with all in-service requirements
- Maintains confidentiality of all information related to the agency, clients, program participants, family, and staff that may be encountered either formally or informally, during the normal course of business to include medical and treatment records, financial and human resource information
- Provides administrative and program support to the CPO
- Assists with organization and planning of agency events as needed
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 3 - 5 years of previous relevant experience required
- Proficient in data reporting including creating graphs in Excel and presentations in MS PowerPoint.
- Possesses excellent analytical skills and the ability to organize data into succinct reporting formats
