    Our Client:

    This client is a growing mid-sized law firm with several locations throughout New York state. They are looking for a Corporate Paralegal to join their growing team. This is an in-office position in downtown Rochester, NY. Salary in the $60-85k range, with room at the top for the right individual. The company is known for taking care of its employees with an excellent benefits package, 401K, and a people-first environment. This comes with 3 weeks of PTO and benefits that start on day one! You have a strong sense of urgency, changing gears quickly when necessary, and you excel at having a broad range of responsibilities.

    What To Expect As a Corporate Paralegal:

    • Solid knowledge of incorporation and formation of corporations, partnerships, and LLCs
    • Assist attorneys in drafting and reviewing corporate documents including contracts, agreements, and filings
    • Support with the formation of new businesses, prepare corporate filings, assist with contract negotiations
    • Create organizational documents including articles of incorporation or dissolution
    • Independent work style with the ability to proactively follow up on assignments where there is little or no guidance given
    • Help keep the partners organized and working efficiently
    • Communicate with clients, other lawyers, and member of the law firm

    Qualifications For Success:

    • Paralegal Certificate, Bachelor’s or Associates degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Minimum of 2 years of direct corporate paralegal experience required
    • Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
    • Takes pride in submitting work products of a high standard
    • Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information
    • Enjoys taking ownership of their work product
    • Excellent time management, organizational abilities, attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for the intended audience
