    Insero Talent Solutions has partnered with a highly respected and reputable real estate/property management company in Rochester to recruit a Credit Risk Analyst.

    Position Summary:

    The Credit Risk Analyst reports to the Manager, Credit Risk and will conduct financial analysis along with supporting the production of financial analysis and reports, findings, and recommendations to inform decision making.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Analysis of prospective and existing tenants identifying trends, measuring performance, assessing financial strength, and identifying risks.
    • Comparing financial statements being evaluated with similar establishments in the same industries and markets.
    • Maintaining financial reports summarizing the financial position of the tenant portfolio.
    • Tracking industry trends and tenant news.
    • Translating data into clear, concise both written and verbal presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations of Credit Risk team members.
    • Assisting Manager, Credit Risk in preparing applicable credit information to be included in various Board of Director Investment/Portfolio Review Committee reporting.
    • Performing analysis assessing how variations in modeling assumptions impact that tenant’s financial performance.
    • Interfacing closely with acquisition, and asset and portfolio management team members.
    • Continuous improvement and development of tenant financial analysis tools, procedures, and reports.
    • Execute duties and maintain standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
    • Additional duties and projects as required.

     

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1 to 3 years of finance/underwriting experience.
    • Formal credit training, commercial credit underwriting experience preferred.
    • Experience with investors service and/or S&P tools are desired.
    • Strong financial analysis skills and the ability to read, evaluate and understand internal and audited financial statements and SEC filings.
    • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis, data manipulation and due diligence skills, with the ability to apply data management skills to complex business situations.
    • Knowledge of financial ratio analysis and GAAP accounting.
    • Understanding of finance, real estate, and capital markets terms and concepts.
    • Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational and planning skills.
    • Experienced in information gathering and information monitoring skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with ability to effectively present data and findings.
    • Effective decision-making skills and an ability to perform under deadline pressure.
    • Able to prioritize and work on multiple analytical projects in a timely manner.
    • Can work independently and as a member of a team.
    • Self-starter, but not hesitant to ask for direction as needed.
