Job Overview:
The Inside Business Development Representative plays a key role in driving new business growth by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads for our medical billing and practice management solutions client. This individual is responsible for generating sales opportunities, developing territory plans, and executing targeted outreach to healthcare practices nationwide. Successful candidates are strategic thinkers who can plan, prioritize, and execute territory sales plans effectively. Also, enthusiastic, persistent, and coachable—able to handle rejection and stay motivated. It's important to have a professional and consultative approach to engaging healthcare professionals. Must be local to Clearwater, FL and willing to travel to events, and offices. Be comfortable managing multiple projects, pipelines, and deadlines. Knowledge of healthcare billing, practice management, or RCM solutions a strong plus. You’ll work to convert leads into qualified opportunities, maintain detailed CRM documentation, and ensure seamless communication across teams and other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Sales DevelopmentProactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls, email campaigns, social media, and digital prospecting.
Follow up promptly on inbound and online leads generated through marketing campaigns, events, and the company website.
Develop and execute territory plans to target specific geographic areas, healthcare specialties, or practice types for growth.
Build rapport with physicians, administrators, and decision-makers to uncover their pain points and match them with PracticeForces’ solutions.
Generate and schedule qualified discovery calls or demos for the senior sales team.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly metrics for lead qualification, meetings booked, and sales pipeline growth.
Accurately record all activities, interactions, and opportunities in the company’s CRM system (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce).
Maintain clean, organized, and up-to-date lead and contact records.
Track lead source effectiveness and provide data-driven insights to refine marketing and sales strategies.
Contribute to the creation and execution of territory development plans aligned with business goals.
Research markets, competitors, and healthcare industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns and follow-up strategies.
Provide feedback on lead quality, messaging, and outreach performance to continuously improve conversion rates.
Experience Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in inside sales, business development, or lead generation, preferably within healthcare services, SaaS, or B2B environments.
Demonstrated ability to generate sales opportunities through outbound prospecting and online lead follow-up.
Strong understanding of sales pipeline development, territory planning, and CRM-based sales tracking.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Tech-savvy with experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar), email automation, and lead tracking systems.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
