    The Role:

    The Inside Sales Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and growing Berks relationships, sales and margin at the independent distributors in our network. This individual will work to develop relationships and a deep understanding of the customers Go to Market strategies and work closely with the Sales Agencies to execute at a high level, growing both sales and margin. The right candidate knows how food service gets done!

    What You'll Own:

    Build relationships within different levels of the distributor

    Understand the customers GTM strategies and who they sell to

    Create and drive a strategy to not just maintain, but grow Berks presence within the accounts

    Prospect new accounts using Berks history as a primary source

    Work closely with the Sales agency to target accounts, drive sampling and key follow up

    Help create a frictionless process for the customer to make Berk the easy choice

    Drive pricing strategies that support pricing hierarchies while creating sales and margin opportunities

    Work cross functionally both internally and externally to create marketing materials for the customer

    Forecast effectively to ensure consistent supply

    Use both Phone, email and direct mail communication to drive desirable outcomes

    What you Bring:

    Financial Acumen, understanding of basic P&L

    Excellent verbal and written communication

    Flexibility and ability to lead through change

    Strong motivation for success

    A creative mind for sales ideas and problem solving

    Strong Microsoft Skills

    An understanding of foodservice

    Physical Demands:

    May need to sit for long periods of time

    Use of keyboards, telephones and other communication equipment

    Travel occasionally to meet and support our customers
