Job Summary

We are seeking a Inside sales/ Customer Service representative to join our team. At Armature Motor and Pump we specialize in Electric Motor and Pump repair and sales. In this role, you will communicate with customers to identify their needs, process requests, order parts for jobs or for stock, and provide helpful solutions that ensure they have a great customer service experience with our company. The ideal candidate is friendly, computer savvy, and is able to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

Receive a high volume of inbound calls and emails

Identify the reason for the customer’s call, collect relevant information, and provide solutions

Prepare quotes for motor and pump repairs, replacements, and parts

Handle customer inquiries, orders, and service requests

Source and order parts from vendors

Coordinate with technicians on job status (teardown, parts, assembly)

Handle walk in customers

Process work orders and track jobs

Keep essential items in stock such as ball bearings, capacitor, mechanical seals, etc.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED

Familiarity with industrial equipment, electric motors, or pumps is preferred but not required

Comfortable using computers and customer management software (QuickBooks)

Excellent phone and verbal communication skills

Understanding of active listening techniques

Ability to work well under pressure

Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively

Valid Drivers License and Reliable Transportation
