Help Wanted – Inside Sales Representative Specialty Industrial Distributor

We are a well-established specialty industrial distributor seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a technical mindset to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming customer inquiries via phone and email

• Prepare and follow up on quotes, orders, and product information

• Assist customers in selecting appropriate products based on application requirements

• Work closely with outside sales and technical support teams to ensure excellent customer service

• Process orders accurately and efficiently using internal software systems

• Maintain product knowledge across our range of specialty tools and equipment

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors

Requirements:

• Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or related field (industrial or technical sales preferred)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to read and understand technical product information

• Comfortable using order entry and CRM systems (training provided)

• Detail-oriented with good organizational and follow-up skills

• Team player with a positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of industrial products such as torque tools, hoists, rigging, hydraulics, or similar equipment

• Experience working in a distribution or manufacturing environment
