    Adam Search Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Estimator / Inside Sales professional to join our client's team in the North Indianapolis area. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing takeoffs, selecting equipment, and developing estimates for engineered systems. You’ll also collaborate with engineers, contractors, factories, and end-users to support installation, service, and warranty activities. Some travel may be required based on your level of independence and experience. Candidates with hands-on field experience—particularly those able to perform installation inspections or handle warranty service calls—will be strongly preferred.  This role is in person. We are looking for someone local to the Indianapolis area. 

    What You'll Do:

    • Prepare detailed project takeoffs, equipment selections, and cost estimates for engineered equipment.
    • Coordinate with factories, engineers, contractors, and end-users to ensure smooth project execution and support.
    • Manage the submittal process from start to finish, assisting clients as needed throughout the project.
    • Provide technical support for equipment installation, service, and warranty coordination.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain project schedules and accurate documentation.
    • Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as new product lines and opportunities arise.

    What We are Looking For: 

    • Experience working with mechanical systems such as pumps, pump controls, heat pumps, water heaters, water softeners, or filtration systems, etc, strongly preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • A background in construction project management or estimation, plumbing experience is a plus.
    • Understanding of related trades (electrical, plumbing, general construction) and overall project logistics.
    • Excellent communication and time management skills.
    • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as the company continues to grow.
