SUMMARY:
The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for building relationships, executing customer orders, and maintaining customer relationships through a detailed understanding of logistic costs and operational analysis. The ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter with the ability to address complex problems and contribute to the company's overall success.
COMPENSATION: $100,000 base salary: 10% annual target bonus plus $2,000 monthly commission potential: comprehensive benefits and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Relationship Management:
Follow up with customers on existing orders and initiate new orders.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Collaboration with Operations:
Work directly with the plant team to execute customer allocations and communicate product flow to customers.
Production & Logistics Coordination:
Collaborate with plants and external partners to understand capacity by location and production variations to create effective weekly and monthly plans.
Order Management:
Ensure timely execution of purchase orders and clearly communicate customer requirements and deadlines to stakeholders.
Pricing Strategy:
Develop an understanding of freight advantages, applicable costs, and market pricing to drive a strong pricing strategy that increases profitability.
Forecast Management:
Analyze forecast data, recommend adjustments based on demand and market trends, and communicate fulfillment requirements to logistics providers.
Market Expansion:
Actively grow and develop non-contract sales relationships to strengthen the company’s position in the spot market.
Business Analysis:
Support business decision-making with financial analysis, problem diagnosis, and operations analysis.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management, preferred
2 to 3 years of supply chain and/or category experience, preferred
