Job Title: Inside Sales Rev. 052025

Reports to: General Manager

Job Description:

The Inside Sales Personnel is responsible for quoting customer requirements for DPACI’s Manufacturing and Testing services within the facility. Negotiate and follow-up on quote status via in-house database to customer buyers on awards and parts receiving to support overall process flow. Foster improvements in the company performance, commitment, achieving higher product quality and delivery to customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities :

• Quote requirements from customers for testing of semiconductors and electronic devices in accordance with military and space specification requirements.
• Contact customers for quote follow-ups and negotiate as required for the Sales Department.
• Perform order entry of items awarded on custom ACCESS database software.
• Track the performance of orders for customer status inquiries and just-in-time shipment milestones.
• Work with different departments to expedite orders that are delayed for any reason and help facilitate the continued movement of jobs between test floors to ensure customer deadlines are met.
• Maintain good relationships with vendors, customers, and inter-departmental employees.
• Generate and circulate applicable status reports to applicable departments and keep accurate and detailed records for traceability of customer requirements.
• Assist in validation of correct parts upon arrival to ensure the quantity and quantity requirement have been met.
• Work with Quality personnel to promote communication between customers and DPACI technical teams.
• Work with the accounting department on Buy/Sell parts and DPACI manufacturing materials in identifying high risk jobs to be tracked and stored in applicable/secure location.
• Responsible for job shelf audits, working with IT Department to continuously improve job shelf location procedure.

Required Skills and Education:

• Experience in customer service, telecon sales, expediting, and price negotiations.

· Familiarity of AS9100 current revision and related documentation as pertain to quality assurance.

· High School diploma or equivalency (Current employees qualification based on training records).

· Read and speak English to understand verbal and written instructions for communication with customer.

· Working knowledge of PCs Microsoft Windows environment, including MS Office suite of products.

· Basic understanding of technical specifications for electronic, electrical, and electromechanical devices.

· Pass a background check, if applicable.

· Pass an entrance test for technical competence during interview.

· Pass e-Verify of DHS.

· Work the designated work shift as a full-time employee.

Interactions:

Along with the relevant department personnel, the Inside Sales personnel interacts with, and may work with DPACI Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production Technical Teams, Human Resources, Customers, Vendors, Third-Party Auditors, and government representatives within to meet contractual requirements of purchase orders.
