  • Responsibilities

    The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for building and advancing the sales pipeline by qualifying inbound inquiries and executing targeted outbound prospecting. This role connects with prospective customers through phone, email, and LinkedIn to run discovery conversations, assess fit, and set up product demonstrations and sales meetings. The position also involves researching prospective accounts, partnering closely with Marketing on outbound and account-based initiatives, and serving as a knowledgeable resource on Intrusion’s offerings.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Engage and qualify inbound leads while responding promptly to business inquiries

    • Reach out to prospective customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn, including follow-up on all inbound leads

    • Conduct discovery and qualification calls to assess opportunity readiness

    • Schedule demos, discovery sessions, and sales appointments with qualified prospects

    • Perform detailed research on target accounts and buying personas

    • Build and execute outbound prospecting and lead generation strategies

    • Collaborate with the Marketing team on outbound campaigns and account-based marketing programs

    • Develop and maintain deep product knowledge to effectively represent Intrusion’s solutions

    • Continuously refine messaging and sales approach to clearly communicate value propositions

    • Accurately track activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics in the CRM

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred

    Experience

    • 5+ years of experience in an SDR or similar B2B sales role with a strong record of results

    • Experience in cybersecurity or related technology markets is a plus

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Hands-on experience with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms

    • Familiarity with prospecting and sales engagement tools

    • Native English proficiency

    • Ability and willingness to work U.S. business hours
