Key Responsibilities
- Inbound response: Handle alls/emails/day; identify part numbers, generate quotes within CRM.
* Proactively call current & former machine owners (30–40 touches/day) to drive aftermarket parts, service, and preventive‐maintenance agreements.
* Follow up on open quotes, trade‐show leads, and post‐service opportunities. Outbound follow‐up: Call on lapsed quotes, upcoming maintenance intervals, and “non‐hot” trade‐show leads.
- Quote management: Prepare, revise, and track spare parts and service quotes through to closed orders; maintain 80%+ quote to order accuracy.
* Prepare accurate spare‐parts and service quotations; maintain ≥ 85 % quote‐to‐order accuracy.
* Track all activity in CRM and ensure complete project data (colors, container specs, orientations, etc.).
* Generate order entry packets and coordinate with the Service Coordinator for invoicing clarity.
- CRM discipline: Log all activities, opportunities, and customer intel; flag upgrade opportunities for field sales.
- Customer success: Schedule post-service check-ins; confirm equipment performance and promote maintenance agreements.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with the Service Coordinator on scheduling, invoicing clarifications, and documentation delivery.
* Partner with Engineering and Marketing to refine selling strategies and hand off clean orders.
* Travel occasionally to customer sites to deepen industry knowledge and strengthen relationships.
* Learn basic AutoCAD tasks to read drawings and identify parts.
* Assist Regional Sales Managers by qualifying prospects and scheduling in-person visits.
Qualifications
- 2+ yrs inside sales or customer support experience in industrial equipment, components, or MRO products.
- Strong mechanical aptitude—comfortable discussing parts diagrams and BOMs with maintenance teams.
- Track record of meeting phone/email activity targets and revenue quotas.
- CRM proficiency (Sales Professional, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and basic ERP/order‐entry skills.
- Clear, friendly communicator; thrives in a fast‐paced, metrics‐driven setting.
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
