    Job Summary:
    The Inside Sales Representative drives revenue by managing inbound and outbound customer engagement, supporting field/region sellers, and progressing rental and lease opportunities from initial inquiry through close. Responsibilities include quoting, pipeline management, account expansion, onboarding assistance, and customer retention all supported by accurate, real-time data in Salesforce. This position collaborates regularly with Account Services/Support, Credit, Maintenance, Branch Operations, and Finance/AR to deliver an exceptional customer experience and ensure timely, accurate execution.

    Sales Execution & Customer Engagement**

    • Manage inbound customer requests, quotes, rental and lease inquiries with professional and timely responses.
    • Execute outbound outreach to existing and inactive customers to re-engage and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
    • Prospect for new accounts via calls, email, and virtual engagement to expand the customer base.
    • Support field sellers through quote development, product availability checks, and coordination of deal execution.
    • Manage assigned accounts, including renewals, add-ons, and amendments where applicable.

    Pipeline Management & Salesforce Accuracy_**
    • Maintain accurate pipeline stages, opportunity updates, and customer data in Salesforce.
    • Document all customer interactions, tasks, and activities per sales process requirements.
    • Track quote aging and follow-up timelines to ensure timely deal progression.
    • Provide regular updates to leadership on pipeline health, forecast, customer activity, and barriers.
    • Follow structured onboarding/renewal follow-up cadences (e.g., 30/60/90 days).

    Cross-Functional Collaboration_

    • Partner with onboarding/account services teams to ensure customer setup, communications, and portal access.
    • Collaborate with the Credit team on customer applications, approvals, and documentation.
    • Coordinate with Maintenance to confirm equipment availability, scheduling, PM needs, and service timelines.
    • Work closely with Operations and Branch teams to align on product availability and delivery expectations.
    • Partner with Finance/AR to support communication on payment issues, disputes, or escalations. _ **

    Quoting & Documentation**_
    • Build accurate quotes for rental, lease, renewal, and amendment transactions.
    • Verify product types, terms, rates, freight, and approvals in accordance with internal guidelines.
    • Use standardized Salesforce templates and workflows to complete quote packages and
    documentation.
    • Support contract changes, cover sheets, and required customer documentation.

    Customer Experience & Issue Resolution_

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer questions, issues, and follow-up.
    • Troubleshoot issues by coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
    • Conduct satisfaction checks and proactive touchpoints to support customer retention.
    • Identify and escalate process improvements that reduce customer effort and enhance efficiency.

    Required Skills/Abilities:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including virtual meeting interactions.
    • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
    • Ability to manage high volumes of communication and prioritize effectively.
    • Strong organizational and computer skills, including Microsoft Office/Teams/Outlook.
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners.
    • Experience in leasing, rentals, transportation, logistics, or equipment sales preferred.
    • Understanding of credit applications, billing workflows, or contract documentation preferred.
    • Familiarity with customer onboarding cycles or customer training preferred.
    • Ability to analyze data and create simple reports/dashboards preferred.

    Education/Experience:
    • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
    • 2+ years of inside sales, customer support, account management, or related office/sales experience.
