Inside Sales Representative (Freight Forwarding – Part-Time)
Location: Torrance, CA
Job Type: Part-Time (32 hours/week – Flexible Schedule)

We are currently seeking a part-time Inside Sales Representative with experience in freight forwarding to join our growing team. This role offers a flexible schedule, commission potential, and long-term growth into a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have a background in air and/or ocean freight sales and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Schedule:
In-office, based in Torrance, CA
4 to 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday (flexible start time)
32 hours per week to start, with the potential to transition to full-time
Key Responsibilities:
Generate new business through outbound calls, lead follow-ups, and prospecting
Respond to client inquiries and provide accurate, competitive quotes
Manage bookings and ensure timely communication with clients
Maintain records of all sales activity and client interactions
Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships
Qualifications:
3–4 years of inside sales experience in freight forwarding (air/ocean preferred)
Knowledge of international shipping, logistics, and cargo processes
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be able and willing to transition to full-time over time
