Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively generating qualified leads and setting appointments with key decision-makers within the corrections market through outbound phone calls, email outreach, and other communication channels. You will play a crucial role in the initial stages of the sales process, qualifying opportunities and providing valuable information to potential clients.
Responsibilities:
Outbound Lead Generation:
Conduct high-volume outbound calls to targeted prospects within the corrections market (e.g., wardens, sheriffs, IT directors, facility managers).
Utilize a variety of prospecting tools and techniques to identify and engage potential clients.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our products and services and their value proposition for the corrections market.
Send follow up emails to territory(s) as new prospects become customers
Appointment Setting:
Effectively communicate the benefits of our solutions and schedule qualified appointments for our field sales team.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions and activities in our CRM system.
Follow up on leads and nurture relationships to maximize appointment conversion rates.
Opportunity Qualification:
Qualify leads based on established criteria, including budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT).
Identify key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
Gather essential information about prospect needs and challenges to effectively position our solutions.
Update prospect database as contacts is provided by RSMs or published by trade show organizers
Market Research:
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments within the corrections sector.
Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on market insights and customer needs.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on lead generation and qualification strategies.
Provide regular reports on sales activities and performance metrics.
Meet or exceed set daily, weekly, and monthly quotas.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of success in an inside sales or outbound calling role.
Experience in the corrections technology industry, preferably selling to government or public sector clients.
Strong understanding of the sales process and lead generation techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients.
Highly motivated, self-directed, and results oriented.
Proficiency in CRM software (Creatio).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of the corrections market is a plus.
Ability to learn technical information quickly.
