Position Overview
As an Inside Sales Representative , you will play a critical role in driving sales success by managing leads, converting inquiries into appointments, and assisting customers through the early stages of the sales process. Your primary focus will be on building relationships, qualifying leads, and ensuring a seamless transition to the outside sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Management :
- Handle inbound and outbound sales calls, follow-up with online inquiries, and respond to potential customers in a timely manner.
- Qualify leads and schedule appointments for the outside sales team..
- Sales Support :
- Assist in preparing and sending estimates, proposals, and follow-up communications.
- Follow up with warm leads and past customers to close deals or upsell services.
- Collaboration :
- Work closely with the outside sales team and production department to ensure smooth handoff and execution of jobs.
- Communicate customer needs and expectations to the team.
- Reporting :
- Track and meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity goals (calls, appointments set, conversions).
- Provide regular performance updates to the Sales Manager.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service experience preferred (roofing/construction experience a plus).
- Exceptional communication and phone skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with CRMs (JobNimbus or similar experience a plus).
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and results-driven mindset.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
