The Client Engagement Specialist is the first point of contact for potential new clients (PNCs) who are exploring whether our firm can help them solve one of the most stressful problems in their lives. This is not a legal role — it’s a consultative sales position for someone who believes that selling is service. The goal is to build trust, help prospects feel heard and understood, and guide qualified clients into retaining the firm. Success in this role means combining empathy and listening skills with the drive and discipline of a high-performing closer. Our best Client Engagement Specialists are passionate about personal growth, driven by metrics, and energized by knowing their work changes lives. Compensation- $40,000 base + upside bonuses. Hitting minimum KPIs will lead to $62,000, while hitting initial high-end KPIs will lead to $84,000. Responsibilities: Sales & Relationship Tasks • Conduct structured consultations (by phone and video) with potential clients • Follow firm-approved scripts and processes while adjusting your tone and approach to suit each prospect • Identify prospects’ pain points, qualify their cases based on firm criteria, and clearly communicate the value of our services • Follow up with prospects using firm CRM systems and follow-up protocols • Overcome objections using empathy, logic, and well-practiced persuasion skills Tracking & Communication • Maintain accurate, detailed notes in the CRM and case management system • Consistently hit individual conversion and follow-up KPIs • Meet regularly with the legal team to ensure alignment on case qualifications and feedback loops • Participate in sales team meetings, roleplays, and skill-building sessions Administrative & Support Tasks • Send engagement agreements and track return of signed retainers • Coordinate with admin staff to schedule consultations and onboarding • Provide timely feedback to marketing on lead quality and trends Qualifications: Education & Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred • 2+ years of experience in sales or client intake, preferably in a law firm, medical, or high-trust professional services setting • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas or KPIs.
