This is a newly created position focused on expanding the Sales department and driving revenue within the Door & Gate Operators industry. We are seeking an experienced sales professional with strong technical knowledge who can support new business development, technical sales, and long-term customer relationships.
The ideal candidate is motivated, independent, and customer-focused, with the ability to combine technical expertise and sales skills to achieve results. This role offers a competitive base salary, commission and bonus opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package following a 90-day probation period.
Sell Door and Gate Operator products and related services
Build credibility and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and manufacturers
Prospect for new customers and business opportunities
Accurately document customer activity and discoveries in the CRM system
Drive sales volume through proactive outreach and follow-up
Meet with prospective customers to present products and services
Conduct product presentations, training sessions, and learning events
Deliver exceptional customer service and support customer retention efforts
Educate customers on current and future product offerings
Prepare quotes, sales orders, and successfully close deals
Manage customer lifecycle from prospect to active account
Monitor customer and industry trends to identify demand and opportunities
Reactivate dormant accounts (18 months or older); reactivated accounts are commission eligible
Maintain consistent communication with existing customers via phone and email
Ensure accurate, up-to-date customer records and documentation
Participate in weekly meetings with management to review performance and goals
Hands-on experience installing Door and Gate Operators
Strong understanding of system hardware, components, and accessories
Knowledge of installation tools and best practices
Ability to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance by phone or email
