    Job Summary

    The Inside Sales Associate is the interface with customers performing activities including proposals, quotations, and pricing. The incumbent must possess knowledge of products, blueprints, processes, and product. The activities are conducted with specific orientation to the customer and are facilitated with speed, accuracy, the highest quality, and a service attitude conducive to good customer relations.

    Responsibilities:

    The role requires multi-tasking on many different levels in a commercial/sales capacity. Leveraging sales metrics to optimize performance and assist sales team in identifying growth areas. Major objectives are:

    • Prepare quotes to Customers and Sales Reps to support the Company’s budget goals. Analyze blueprints and specification documentation to ensure codes and regulations are met. Communicate with customers to assist project related questions in order to provide the best possible product and design solution. Prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates on time.
    • Utilizing Strategic Selling process to identify leads; converting leads to sales opportunities. Includes: creating, measuring and maintaining customer data: reporting results and initiating action on behalf of customers.
    • Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.
    • Manages Key Accounts as assigned by Commercial Sales Director
    • Maintains and improves quality results by following standards, recommending improved policies and procedures.
    • Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities.
    • Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
    • Assist Office Administration / Accounting e.g. with Accounts Payable, Invoicing, or other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or 2-3 year of experience in Customer Service, Inside Sales, or Account Management.
    • 3-4 years of contracting or sub-contracting; contract management; construction management; project scheduling or similar planning & scheduling experience.
    • 3-4 years of glazing / façade / architectural building product industry; familiar with the construction cycle and roles of the key stakeholders in the construction team.
    • Strong analytical, attention to detail, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • High level of integrity and responsibility; commitment to the values of mutual respect, teamwork, diversity, support of fellow employees, and continuous improvement.
    • Self-motivated individual who thrives in a team environment.
    • Demonstrates creative and strategic thinking. Value selling with excellent communication - oral, written, and strong listening skills.
    • Ability to work with & understand complex channels & distribution models.
    • High sense of urgency and solid work ethic fueled by a desire for personal and professional growth.

    Additional Description

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position, which is $54,200 to $81,200 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

    In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 7% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $57,900 to $86,800. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
