    Job Description

     

    FINANCIAL ANALYST

    Global institutional asset management firm headquartered in San Francisco is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their firm. The Firm’s investments include public and private debt and equity securities, direct investments in private companies, and real estate. This Financial Analyst role is a team-oriented role supporting senior members on the family advisory teams as they service clients in a fast-paced, service-oriented, and confidential environment.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare client balance sheets and develop asset allocation analyses.
    • Monitor client investment performance and manage quarterly portfolio reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
    • Develop a deep understanding of portfolio construction, asset classes, investment products, macroeconomics, client customizations, and professional communication.
    • Perform ad hoc analyses for clients’ financial and estate planning needs.
    • Develop and prepare marketing presentations for prospective clients that address equity, fixed income, and alternative investment components of asset allocation.
    • Participate in equity and option trading activities with increasing responsibilities for investment execution.
    • Gather, prepare, and coordinate client tax data and documentation.
    • Be exposed to and involved in direct private investments, client interactions, and other critical family office operations.
    • Work in conjunction with various internal and cross-functional groups with research, operations, and management to respond to client needs and enhance processes.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 1–2 years of relevant industry experience (family office, wealth management or other experience working with high net worth families is preferred).
    • Excellent academic background and strong cognitive ability.
    • Passion for investment management and client service.
    • Detail-oriented and thorough.
    • Superior communication and analytical skills.
    • Highly motivated, trustworthy, intellectually curious, and mature.

     

     

    SALARY:

    • $80-100k plus bonus and exceptional benefits
