Job Description

DESIRED SKILLS:

• 3+ years automated testing experience in SELENIUM
• Familiar with writing basic Java OR JavaScript OR C#
• A Mid-level Automated Software Test Engineer with experience with functional and non-functional testing

PLUSSES:

• Cucumber, Gerkin, Speck flow (variety of frameworks for Selenium that do the same thing)
• Chaos Monkey (most common is Gremlin)
• Experience with K6 OR Load Running OR J Meter

DAY TO DAY:

Insight Global is seeking an Automated Test Engineer. The Automated Test Engineer will be a member of an Agile team operating in two week sprints. The majority of their time will spend doing automated testing in Selenium. The engineer will be focused on developing tests for stories as they are being developed by Software Engineers in the NodeJS space. 80% of their time will be spend testing, with 60% functional testing and 40% non-functional testing. Someone who can look at test cases and automate them.
