QUALIFICATIONS:
· Strong data entry background
· Previous applicable job titles – Data Entry Specialist/Clerk, Claims Processor/Specialist, or someone who has experience handling sensitive/personal information
· Experience working in a fast paced/numbers-based environment
· Sufficient computer navigational skills
· Sharp, reliable, and strong problem-solving skills
· Attention to detail
· High School Diploma/GED
The Verification Specialists will be responsible for reviewing forms of identification and determining if the documents appear to be authentic. They will be required to access the PUA system, attach the document to a bar code number that they retrieve from the PUA system, and submit the document. The documents that these individuals will be working with will include forms of identification, tax documents, appeals, etc. The purpose behind the job is to determine if the document is authentic and then associate the document to the correct claimant in order to process unemployment claims. There are tens of thousands of IDS that still need to be verified so it is imperative that this individual is comfortable working in a fast paced, metrics-based environment.
