Job Description
We are one of Nebraska’s oldest success stories located in the heart of Nebraska and looking for a System Administrator to ensure consistent day to day operation of internal computer systems and servers. The ideal candidate has good technical knowledge of PC operating systems, including Windows, Windows Server and Linux. We offer a salary range of $60k to $75k, excellent benefits and we pay for professional trainings and certifications!
Responsibilities: • Provide ownership of assigned technical issues through final resolution. • Manage Office 365 administration including Office 365 groups, distribution lists, retention policies, Teams OneDrive, tenant administration and licensing, and Azure AD. • Support Active Directory administration using group policy, Users and Groups, Sites and Services, and integration with 3rd party software. • Maintain and support virtualization using VMware, ESXi, Dell/HP blade servers and vSphere. • Handle AD/email account creation and archiving during onboarding and offboarding. • Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate tasks. • Administer and maintain file server permissions, shared folders and DFS. • Perform server security audits and system backups & recovery. • Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and/or 2 years equivalent work experience • Working technical knowledge of network hardware, protocols and standards, including AD, Group Policies, MS O365, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery • Experience with the following preferred: Azure AD, Veeam, Antivirus, SEIM, PCI, Email security, virtualization and Powershell. • Current certifications in MCSA, MCSE or related are preferred
