    Are you experienced with Sage x3 in a manufacturing environment with a desire to be part of something big? If you have a strong manufacturing background, ability to educate users, and would consider yourself a ‘power-user’ of Sage x3, we may have the role for you.

    We are a well-established and thriving privately owned company looking to add a Sage x3 experienced Business Systems Manager to our growing team on the West Coast (Oregon or Washington preferred). We are operating at a very fast pace and busting at the seams and are in need of adaptable, energetic, driven team members who want to grow with us. SALARY D.O.E PLUS BENEFITS AND GREAT BONUSES.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Serve as lead subject matter expert for our ERP
    • Provide technical troubleshooting and functional support for business users
    • Resolve broadly defined problems by identifying root cause and identifying creative solutions
    • Identify hidden problems and look beyond initial answers
    • Deliver system enhancements by recommending innovative solutions
    • Suggest alternative technical solutions to meet user’s requirements more efficiently, and/or with greater reusability
    • Maintain (or create) documentation of the systems, design, processes, and policies
    • Collaborate with internal business partners to enhance business processes (e.g. modify custom workflows, condition rules, approvals, etc.), to support ongoing business process changes
    • Develop a working understanding of each business unit functions.
    • Meet business needs by translating user requirements into solutions
    • Execute standardization of ERP software solutions
    • Create system procedures, guidelines and manuals
    • Orchestrate employee training
    • Work with software providers and operating teams to optimize the use of software for company workflow
    • Work with providers and operating company employees to resolve system issues in a timely manner
    • Conduct regular reviews of systems and generating reports on efficiencies and improvement areas
    • Conduct research into other supplementary system solutions as the market develops • Risk mitigation planning and execution
    • Provide level 2-3 technical support for Enterprise Application Systems
    • Provide Team Member training on new and existing application features
    • Develop processes to assist with rapid changes to application enhancements.
    • Manage and track support cases internally with users and opened with software vendors.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    • Extensive experience in implementation with Sage x3 software
    • Understanding of various databases, such as Oracle (PL/SQL), MySQL that are used widely in various businesses.
    • Experience integrating Sage X3 with other external systems.
    • Ability to thrive in a cross functional team environment. This position will work closely with all departments throughout the organization to complete automation/process improvement projects. They must be able to convey technical information in a language that is understood by non-technical employees.
    • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Desire and willingness to stay up to date with various new technological changes in both software and hardware.
    • Desire and willingness to attend various classes or workshops to expand their knowledge at company expense.
    • Train, coach, or mentor new or junior IT employees
    • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple engagements in a fast paced, dynamic environment
