Job Description

An Electrical Engineer researches, develops, designs, and tests avionics/electrical components, equipment, and systems, applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering. May diagnose malfunctions in existing products and make improvements or modifications to produce desired results. May also Provide support to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements. May utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. May perform risk assessments and generate risk mitigation plans and strategies. May specialize in specific area of discipline, such as specialty aircraft and related electrical components, (e.g., cameras and sensors), radio-frequency equipment communications, optical equipment and relays, or area of work, such as manufacturing, applications, or installation.
