    Job Description

    SUMMARY:

    The Insmed Summer Internship Program gives students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment, receive mentoring from highly skilled professionals and work on dynamic team projects. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship that will begin May 29, 2018 until August 17, 2018. The intern will be assigned goals and objectives that will support the strategic business plan of the team. The Internship Program culminates with each Intern presenting on their Insmed experience to members of our staff.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist with the filing and naming of compassionate use program documents to electronic repository
    • Support QC activities of expanded access documents
    • Assist in the preparation of tracking documents (excel workbooks)
    • Participate in program execution by supporting internal project team for ad hoc tasks
    • Support project management activities and prepare meeting minutes during participation in program-related meetings as appropriate

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Has an interest in health science field
    • Ability to display commitment to producing quality deliverables with attention to detail
    • Effective written and oral communications
    • Ability to demonstrate organizational and time management skills 
    • Development of negotiation skills for deliverables/due dates
    • Develop the ability to work in a virtual, cross functional team environment
    • Experience with Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly excel
    • Open to students currently in a full-time pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Graduation date cannot be before 12/2018)
