Job Description

The Insmed Summer Internship Program gives students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment, receive mentoring from highly skilled professionals and work on dynamic team projects. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship that will begin May 29, 2018 until August 17, 2018. The intern will be assigned goals and objectives that will support the strategic business plan of the team. The Internship Program culminates with each Intern presenting on their Insmed experience to members of our staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the second quarter financial close; including preparation of account analysis; responses to external auditors’ requests
  
• Assist with preparation of 10 year Strategic Plan
  
• Help prepare monthly operational reports and supporting analyses
  
• Update Clinical Trials, Manufacturing, Commercial, and G&A documentation utilizing ORACLE & Hyperion environments
  
• Collaborate with FP&A team to business partner with functional areas to better understand operating results, ultimately providing accurate and timely information to drive critical business decisions by senior management.
