    Job Description

    The Insmed Summer Internship Program gives students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment, receive mentoring from highly skilled professionals and work on dynamic team projects. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship that will begin May 28, 2019 until August 16, 2019. The intern will be assigned goals and objectives that will support the strategic business plan of the team. The Internship Program culminates with each Intern presenting on their Insmed experience to members of our staff.

The intern will be assigned goals and objectives that will support the strategic business plan of the team. With the internship starting just 8 months after the launch of ARIKAYCE®, you will have the opportunity to contribute to and learn from this critical period of driving brand success.

    The intern will primarily support the digital marketing efforts for ARIKAYCE® and will also support other marketing and market research initiatives.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Support the development and execution of HCP (healthcare provider) and physician digital marketing tactics
    • Lead digital marketing optimizations, which includes:
      • Analysis of data and metrics
      • Identification of trends and potential opportunities
      • Planning and execution of media, website, or other tactical optimizations based on your own evaluations
    • Research emerging topics on drug commercialization, marketing, or other relevant topics and present findings to broader commercial team
    • Support market research, including research study design, attending in-person interviews, and development of research summaries
    • Support the ARIKAYCE® brand team in development and execution of other HCP, patient and/or payer marketing tactics
    • Meet and interview Insmed team members from other functions to develop a comprehensive understanding of the operations of a biotech company
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Completion of at least first year of study in MBA program OR completion of at least P1 year of study in Pharm.D. program
    • High energy and desire to make a big impact is required
    • Ability to interact successfully in a dynamic and diverse workplace
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required
    • Previous experience in digital or social media marketing is a plus
    • Background in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Ad Manager, Salesforce platforms, and other similar platforms is a plus
