We are seeking a full-time inspection assistant for our Maintenance Team who has keen attention to detail, logistical coordination, and well-honed communication skills. The ideal candidate excels in attention to detail, communication, and organization. Inspection assistant position travels to and accesses properties within the company’s managed portfolio, as assigned, to conduct comprehensive compliance & preparatory inspections for the Project Managers to evaluate and finalize. Responsibilities: • Turnover Inspections • Security Deposit Inspections • Annual Inspections • Common-Area Multi-Unit Building Inspections • Post-turnover work walk-throughs • Initial inspections for newly managed properties • Identifies safety hazards and structural defects on the interior and exterior of properties and clearly documents such items in reports and photos for Project Managers to escalate and create action plans • Closely follows the provided company inspection templates for each inspection type, thoroughly documenting details • Takes clear photographs of all exterior sides and all interior areas of properties to supplement the inspection report • Conduct themselves in a professional manner on-site, as properties may be vacant or occupied • Maintains a thorough comprehension of the Philadelphia Maintenance Code and keeps informed of any changes Qualifications: • Driver's license • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Attention to detail • Team player Compensation and Benefits: • $45,000-$50,000/year salary • 15 days of paid time off (PTO) + 7 paid holidays • 401(k), eligible after 6 months of employment with a match of up to 4% • Health/Dental/Vision insurance options with partial employer contribution • Opportunities for employer-paid continued education and goal-related bonuses • Quarterly staff team-building activities, positive company culture Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000 yearly
