    Who We Are Looking For:

    Reporting to the Production Supervisor we are looking for someone with a focus on attention to detail and process to complete inspection of finished product prior to shipment. Role requires comparing product to customer specifications and internal quality standards. Must be able to follow ISO 9001 inspection procedures, perform ISO process audits and track deviations for monthly reviews.

    This is a full time in-facility position. Hours are Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Read and review all orders that are submitted for production. The inspector must be sure they are familiar with the order and customer requirements.

    2. Check, mark and measure all garments to be sure they comply with the customer’s requirements and specifications. This inspection should focus on letters, trim, pockets and patch placements before Bar Tack.

    3. Check each garment for loose threads or missing stitches.

    4. Inspect to ensure there are no defects in the material and report any concerns.

    5. Ensure timely completion of inspection process and appropriate shipping to customers in correct boxes and by customer commitment date.

    The inspectors are required to work to support the goals of the manufacturing team. The inspectors must work together as a team and provide assistance to the other inspection station when the volume of work is too heavy and is slowing down production.

    Qualifications

    Experience in clothing, garment or other detailed inspection, preferably in an ISO certified environment.

    Ability to live 20+lbs repeatedly during the day. (Weight of final garments)

    Spanish-language fluency strongly preferred

    Desire to work in a team environment

    Ability to read all customer specification sheets (in English) and communicate differences or concerns, to production supervisor, inventory management, sewers, design or other departments

    Demonstrated ability to listen to and communicate detailed information.

    Ability to be professional, courteous, and tactful under pressure.

    What We Offer:

    Competitive Pay – range for this position is $15-$20/hour, based on education and experience. In order to start at top of range, you must have 3+ years of very similar experience.
