Inspection Manager - Machining - Base Salary to 90k/year - Rochester, NY

• Our client has been offering machining solutions for 50 years and has earned a reputation for leading the industry in precision manufacturing.
  
• They are adding an Inspection Manager to their team to develop, implement, and manage inspection systems consistent with established standards, customer specifications and production goals.

Responsibilities:

• The Inspection Manager will lead a team of inspectors and will work closely with production, engineering, customer service and quality departments to maintain compliance with internal external standards.
  
• This position serves as both a management position, as well as a hands-on position, being an active part of the workforce and leading by example.
  
• This person will define inspection procedures in conjunction with operating staff, set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures to assure a consistent process across the department.

Qualifications:

• Fully versed in PC Dmis and Calypso software and be up to date in the latest options
  
• Mathematical aptitude with a clear understanding of GD&T tolerancing requirements
  
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to details
  
• Excellent Technical Writing skills for the purpose of writing and maintaining work instructions, SOPS, and technical standards.
  
• Must be able to read and follow blueprints, and drawings
  
• Knowledge of AS9100 and its requirements

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 80k - 90k/year range
