    Director of Finance

    The successful individual should have well versed accounting knowledge and multiple years of management experience. Our ideal candidate uses strong analytical skills to create detailed financial reports and forecasts for clients. To succeed in this role, you should also have a problem-solving attitude and be able to manage a team. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure financial reporting is accurate, effective and timely for clients.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Responsible for the training, performance management and daily supervision of Accounting staff

    Oversee month end and year end close processes and ensure all client deadlines are met.

    Assist with client budget and forecasting activities

    Resolve financial questions from clients.

    Develop best practices, efficient processes, and new reporting structures

    Manage external client relationships

    Participate in new client and product development

    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    Requirements & Qualifications:

    5 years recent accounting and supervisory experience.

    3-5 years leadership experience

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or MBA.

    Experience in QuickBooks preferred

    Proficient in Microsoft Excel (managing spreadsheets and advanced formulas)

    Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines

    Ability to work independently, identify problems, propose viable solutions and perform research when needed

    Must be flexible, able to work with others, detail oriented and have strong communication skills

    Ability to prioritize work

    Attention to detail and accuracy

    Team management skills

    Willing to attend trade shows and conferences on an occasional basis
